We feature an authentic Harris Tweed jacket this season, the new 280 gram lighter weight woven in the Hebrides exclusively for us. This sepia and cream herringbone weave has subtle touches of mélange color throughout, and is complemented by chocolate elbow patches and suede under the collar, which is handsome worn up. Harris Tweed is always woven as an art form, with multiple colors in every thread compounding to create a mélange of remarkable hues. Shown with one of our handsome Swiss woven mini-grid check cutaway collar shirts, meticulously cut, each has true mother-of-pearl buttons, single needle stitching, sleeve gauntlets, side gussets, and comfortable softly lined collar. We have paired it with an entirely handsewn striped English silk necktie in maroon with navy blue stripes bordered in gold. Trousers are our fine English khaki drills, cut from traditional 100% combed cotton drill cloth that closely replicates the fine-weave twill fabric used in the manufacture of uniforms worn by the colonial British army on the drilling fields of tropical outposts since the 1840’s. In the pocket, our satin cotton check squares in gold, with highlights of red and brown. Our handsome Kempton slip-on demi-boot in tobacco suede is paired with our suede belt. Ben Silver eyewear, with a traditional keyhole bridge, is cut in matte finish mahogany.
About Our Tailored Jackets and Suits

Our tailored jackets and suits are cut from English, Scottish, Irish and Italian fabrics, and made in America and Canada; we produce 40-42S even sizes, 38-50R even sizes, 39-45R odd sizes, and 40-50L even sizes. Tailored in a trim silhouette that speaks of Authentic American Style, with a canvassed two-button front with hand felled natural shoulder and armholes, upper welt pocket, classic point to point at the shoulder, and trim high notched 3" lapel, with either side vents or center vent, as noted. Lower patch and flap pockets replace inset lower flap pockets on our classic American blazer, which we also finish with lap seams, ¼" stitching at the lapels, and a hooked center vent. Constructed with the highest quality Bemberg lining, and deep functional interior pockets for business cards, loose change, eyeglasses, wallet or passport.
