This sport coat is our sentimental favorite, brought back from the Ben Silver archives with Magee of Ireland, because it is a pattern closely associated with Bob Prenner over the years. A true Donegal pattern, in a “broken” bone with delicate vertical stripes of dusty blue against the tan and beige bones; it is woven in 65% lambswool and 35% alpaca for a light hand, and cut in our most traditional style with quarter inch edge stitched lapels, an upper besom pocket, and lower patch and flap pockets, along with a hooked center vent. As with all of our jackets, available in our full size range, and fashioned with a trim lapel and a soft shoulder in authentic American style. We propose our Panama weave 2-ply 170s thread count cotton Bengal stripe Swiss woven button down shirt; our classic madder silk necktie with an understated neat motif in a cobalt blue ground; our blue engineered cotton pocket square; light grey plain front cavalry twill trousers and our tan calfskin leather belt with a brass buckle, our burnished chestnut Harvard loafer, along with our dusty blue ribbed wool socks. About Our Tailored Jackets and Suits

Our tailored jackets and suits are cut from English, Scottish, Irish and Italian fabrics, and made in America and Canada; we produce 40-42S even sizes, 38-50R even sizes, 39-45R odd sizes, and 40-50L even sizes. Tailored in a trim silhouette that speaks of Authentic American Style, with a canvassed two-button front with hand felled natural shoulder and armholes, upper welt pocket, classic point to point at the shoulder, and trim high notched 3" lapel, with either side vents or center vent, as noted. Lower patch and flap pockets replace inset lower flap pockets on our classic American blazer, which we also finish with lap seams, ¼" stitching at the lapels, and a hooked center vent. Constructed with the highest quality Bemberg lining, and deep functional interior pockets for business cards, loose change, eyeglasses, wallet or passport.
