Mr. Ben Silver, our founder, introduced university and prep school blazer buttons to America from Great Britain in 1960. His handcrafted buttons soon became the standard throughout the world for jewelry quality. During this same time period, Mr. Silver began to produce blazer buttons for many prestigious clubs and corporations, and became the purveyor of Presidential Seal blazer buttons to the White House. In fact, the Ben Silver Corporation has produced U.S. Presidential Seal blazer buttons for every occupant of the Oval Office from Harry Truman to George W. Bush.

In the past two decades, our company has become the leading manufacturer in the world of pure silk authentic British striped and crested hand sewn neckwear. Our company has produced “club” stripes and crests for many of the world's foremost private clubs and corporations.

Beyond blazer buttons and traditional neckwear, the Ben Silver name is identified with classic style. While our selection of striped neckwear is the finest and the largest in the world, other classic neckwear and fine shirtings have grown to be a major focus of the business as well.
