Sage and Cream Glen Plaid Wool Sport Coat

his classic plaid sport coat, cut from fine Scottish lambswool woven by the renowned Robert Noble mill, has an appealing hand. The cream ground, in combination with the subtle grey, sky, sage and sienna colors of the plaid, highlight the allure of the fabric. We have tailored it in our workroom as a two button jacket with a canvassed front and hand felled natural shoulder, classic point to point at the shoulders, with side vents, double pipe and flap lower pockets and a welted upper pocket, with slim bluff edge lapels and a comfortable trim silhouette. We selected one of our handsome Bengal stripe spread collar broadcloth shirts and, to highlight the delicate sage color, a Hunter green ground silk striped tie, with gold stripes bordered in claret. Our square motif blue pocket square highlights the blue striped shirt, and the choice of olive green cavalry twill trousers helps bring all the elements of the plaid to the fore. We suggest our tobacco suede Harvard loafers and the same color suede belt.
