Argyle Socks in Wool

Authentic argyle pattern wool socks are available in two lengths—above the calf, and regular. Socks are 85% wool and 15% nylon. Available in seven colorful combinations, with heel, toe and trim in solid colors. Top row, from left to right: 14-black, grey, blue; 24-grey, black, yellow; 26-navy, red, green. We regret to tell you that our sock knitter is unable to manufacture argyle socks at the present time because newly placed machinery is leaving loose threads where the argyle squares join, and as yet, the knitter has no solution. We are forced to delay any replacements until this problem is remedied. We do have inventory of the wool argyle socks in both above the calf and short, and some were knitted before the new machinery was in place and will not have any problem. However, if you purchase any of the wool argyle socks, we recommend gentle washing and line drying, since there is a possibility that this will eliminate the manufacturing problem. If you find that there is a problem, please let us know. As soon as we learn that there is a solution to this problem, we will let you know, but until then, we are sorry for any disappointment.
