Established in France in 1787, as a weaver of fine linens and other luxury fabrics, and supplying shirting and other fabrics for French couturiers through the 20th century, it remains a family business, now concentrating exclusively on handkerchiefs and pocket squares. The husband and wife team, inheritors of the family reputation and artisanal skill, continue to weave the very finest jacquard cloths, elegantly designed and colored, with many patterns based on historic archives.
